This is going to be a short article. Because adding a RotopaX to a BillieBars Molle Panel is about an easy of installation as it gets.
If you haven't heard of RotopaX before - they're a reputable company that makes plastic tanks, perfect for holding fuel or water - two essentials if you plan on going overlanding - or if you simply want to be prepared in case you run out of gas.
In this video/article, we're installing the dual RotopaX tank on our mid height molle panel.
BillieBars Molle Panels have pre-fabricated holes that accommodate the RotopaX mounting brackets, giving you options as far as spacing. (The mounting brackets and hardware are conveniently supplied by RotopaX).
As you can see in the video, we install the mounting brackets, confirming spacing with the holes in the actual RotopaX tank. After making sure the mounts are fastened tightly, we add the RotopaX and we're good to go.
If we happened to be running an RTT (Roof Top Tent), we'd have to remove the RotopaX to fully open the tent, which takes about 15 seconds. You just have to remember to put it back on, before you pull out of camp!
We value ease and simplicity here at BillieBars, which is why we feel like adding RotopaX is a perfect fit!
As always, give us a shout with any fitment questions you may have!
